Potluck ideas?!?!

I have a potluck dinner tomorrow and no clue what to make! I can't afford anything expensive and I am a vegetarian. Help!!

spinach dip with baguettes or in a bread bowl?
assorted veggie tray and dip?
cucumber/cream cheese mini sandwiches?


do you need to bring a meal, appetizer or dessert? or does it not matter?

pasta salad, tomato torte, spinach artichoke dip, sweet potato casserole, baked beans?

I was thinking a dip would be good. Maybe I'll make a spinach dip. I also saw a recipe or caprese salad but as a dip thy looks interesting.

Fruit salsa

2 apples (I use Fuji)
3 kiwi
1 pack of raspberries
1 pack strawberries

I chop all the fruit with one of those slap chop things. Add a tablespoon or two of water jelly you have on hand. Serve with cinnamon chips. I make my own chips. I cut tortillas into 8 wedges using a pizza cutter. Spray with Pam and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on them. Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or so. This is always a big hit at pot lucks.

Veggie chili or bean dip always works too. Just throw beans of all sorts some tomatoes and spices in the crock pot
