Central Florida CD Wash Routines?

I'm starting a little CD stash and wondering how other central Florida CD parents handle the hard water situation? What's your wash routine like? Thank you in advance for any input on detergents/routines!

I have just now realized my water is hard! I have been using rockin green classic rock. But I suppose I will switch to their hard rock version for hard water...really haven't had any problems to speak of...more issues with spotty dishes than diapers ...

Re: Central Florida CD Wash Routines?

I am in Orlando area and do have super hard water. I use Tide original powder with calgon water ( I swear the Calgon makes a HUGE diference with hard water problems). I do a lot of sunning as well for stains. I do a prewash, regular wash and an aditional rinse and never have had any problems with our dipes.
Try the calgon water and you will see... Walmart sells it in the detergent area at the buttom shelves.
