Washing Lansinoh from Nursing Pads

I am in need of some advice from you wonderful mamas!

I used lanolin type creams on my nipples while I was using my washable nursing pads ... and of course, now I'm having a hard time washing it out of the pads

Is there an easy way for me to wash out the lanolin? Do they need to be stripped, a la cloth diapers? Any input here would be great ... I'd hate to have to start a new stash, over such a rookie mistake!

Get a microwave safe dish. Fill with water and dawn. Place pads in and nuke 'em. You might need extra dawn and some good toothbrush scrubbing but it should do the trick.

Put a little dab of dawn on serious globs. Wash them in hot water. I always found it harder to get out the milk smell than the lanolin

I had good luck with dawn. Fill the bathroom sink with super hit water and dawn, add pads, i let them sit a bit and scrubbed them against each other. After a few hours, drain, rinse really well, and wash like normal.
