Diagnosed with MTHFR

Anyone else who has has a MTHFR mutation? I found out I have this today, a homozygous one to be exact. I had a follow up with a specialist because I've had 3 back to back miscarriages prior. They are prescribing me injectable blood thinners that I will start after my beta comes back tomorrow.

Just wondering if anyone else had dealt with the effects of this?

Re: Diagnosed with MTHFR

DD crashing but I do as well.... I am on lovenox and Folic acid 4mg per day. Thankfully once you are past 15-16 weeks the chances of loss are drastically reduced to that of a "normal" pregnancy. They don't take you off the blood thinners however since there isn't enough information out there and "why change what works" i guess is the thinking. Every doc has a different protocol though. I am currently 23 weeks now after three repeat losses including a genetically perfect little boy this past summer at almost 12 weeks so I am sticking to the plan. Hope your pregnancy is fantastically un-eventful!! Congrats!!
