but I changed them yesterday

My roommates daughter is getting dressed for church.

She grabbed some clothes and headed for the bathroom.

When I reminded her she needed clean underwear.

She goes..

But I changed them yesterday :/

Re: but I changed them yesterday

LOL reminds me of my boys, they will try to get away with anything:

Go wash your hands, and get ready for lunch!
But mooooom! I washed them this morning!!

Go change your pants please, they are dirty.
But moooom! It's just a little dirt!!
Me eyeballing the caked on mud-
Really?!? Take them off and then shake them off outside...
2 seconds later -
With pants ON!! Take them off, put on clean pants, THEN shake them off OUTSIDE...

You wore those clothes yesterday, and they are dirty.
Well I like these clothes, they are not that bad!
Ensuing conversation on how to judge what clothes can be re-worn ie, things that are not stained with food or dirt...

It's bath night!
Ugh!! I just took a bath!!
When?
I don't know!! But I know I did!
Get in the tub, if you can't remember, you need a bath.
Last night! I took one last night!
Good heavens, I know you didn't, stop making things up and get in the tub!
WHHHHYYYYY? I hate baths!!
Fast forward one hour later:
You have to get out now, the water is cold and it's bedtime.
Oh , can I stay in just 5 more minutes?
