Fluffy cupcake icing recipes please!!

I'm making cupcakes for Ds's bday party on Saturday and I'd like to make a light, fluffy icing for them. I would LOVE to hear your recipes!!

I found this one online:

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 pound (4 cups) confectioners' sugar, sifted
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

1.
With an electric mixer, beat butter on medium-high speed until pale and creamy, about 2 minutes.

2.
Reduce speed to medium. Add the confectioners' sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition and scraping down sides of bowl as needed; after every two additions, raise speed to high and beat 10 seconds to aerate frosting, then return to medium-high. This process should take about 5 minutes. Frosting will be very pale and fluffy.

3.
Add vanilla, and beat until frosting is smooth. If not using immediately, frosting can be refrigerated up to 10 days in an airtight container. Before using, bring to room temperature, and beat on low speed until smooth again, about 5 minutes

Search online for 7 minute frosting:yum: Super light and fluffy. Pretty shiny white frosting that tastes marshmallowish.

I don't like whipped cream, but if you mix it with your regular frosting recipe- after the frosting is ready just fold it in. It will make it very light and fluffy, but you want taste it. It also won't have whipped cream texture, but it does good things to heavier frostings.

I have done the 7 minute with the double boiler and also an Italian buttercream technique where you drizzle hot sugar syrup in to beaten egg whites while you continue beating in the stand mixer. I will see if I can find the recipe for you tomorrow.
