What's your favorite...

Cloth safe diaper rash cream? Our poor little one ended up with diaper rash and we have used all of our disposables that we had gotten and used a non cloth safe treatment with them, but I'm just curious what everyone's favorite is for using with cloth diapers?

Re: What's your favorite...

I've used breastmilk with success and I've heard good things about coconut oil but haven't personally tried that. My absolute favorite rash remedy is alternating baking soda and oatmeal soaks, once the cord has healed of course. In the morning: to baby's bath I add enough baking soda to make the water feel sorta slimy (real technical, eh?) about a tablespoon I guess. Then let baby's little tushy soak for a few minutes and pat dry or air dry. At night I do the same thing but with Aveeno baby oatmeal soak/bath treatment instead of baking soda.

I used grovia magic stick with most changes, I like the convenience of the stick form. If he looks rashy I use a bit of CJs.

If it's a yeast-looking rash, we use a lotrimin+steroid ointment. Or I'll use some APNO - works awesome on any rashes!
We also just use zinc cream with our cloth. I don't get the whole "not safe for cloth" creams? I've never had any issues with anything we've used. FWIW, we just use the cheapest zinc cream we can get, not the "desitin" brand, which seems to be the one people have troubles with.
If you're really worried about it, you can just cut a bit of fleece or something to use as a liner in cloth when you're using creams.

California Baby. Cloth safe and you can buy it IN A STORE.... That, and for suspected yeast, CJ's butter plus spritz.
