Re: Anyone else getting burned out?

yeah thats pretty much life after a certain point. you can get tiny breaks here and there but life is just busy all the time once you had jobs and kids to the mix. it doesnt get easier really but there are some things that can help a bit (like someone mentioned a cleaning service)

Yup yup yup!! I spoke to a cleaner over the weekend. It'll be $40 for 2 hours a week for her to come in and do the floors, baseboards, dusting and a good clean on the kids' bathroom.

Dh thinks I'm silly, because all these things are on the chore list, but have you ever seen a teenage boy clean "well"? lol

With dh working M-F 7-4 and me working shifts and putting in 60-80hrs a week, I want to just be able to come home, throw in some laundry, load the dishwasher and tidy up. I want to spend time with THEM!

I'm so glad it's not just me!! I called out today to stay home and work on a term paper for my class that's due on Wednesday. I'm dreaming about my upcoming hospital stay (due in oct!!) like I'll be going to a 5 star hotel!

We'll see. I will be starting a second job soon (sleep over nights) taking 2 summer classes and my full time job. Thankfully I can do homework at work while the clients are sleeping

I'd be jealous too! Lol! Last year was my first summer I didn't have to work and I enjoyed it so much that I've been dreaming about summer again all school year!
