Re: What's your fav. crock pot recipe?
We make burrito meat in the crockpot. It is really easy but is super yummy for all mexican type recipes!
1 large chuck roast or 2 small 1 jar pace salsa (which ever one you want ie. picante, medium, mild it doesn't matter) almost full pace jar of water Thats it! Cook on high about 6 hours, I don't really know how long, when it fall apart its done! We use it for burritos, nachos, tacos, anything! |

I hope this wasn't already posted but I'm not going back through to look
![]() Beef Tips Over Egg Noodles I buy a 2 or 3lb hunk of Angus pot roast, and cut it into stew chunks. Put them in the crock pot, cover with water and add a few squirts of soy sauce. Dice up a whole onion and throw it in. Cook on low for 6 hours. 30 mins before dinner, add 2 or 3 packets of brown gravy mix, and mix well. We serve it over egg noodles with a veggie side... SO good! This works with venison too! |

Re: What's your fav. crock pot recipe?
I love green curry in the crock pot. I usually just improvise it and always veggie for me. I use green curry paste (you can do it with plain curry powder too if you don't like it so spicy). The base is coconut milk (canned), a bit of ginger (dry or paste is fine), and light brown sugar or palm sugar. Then I like pressed tofu (when I'm not soy free), sweet potato, eggplant and cauliflower. I change it up as far as the veggies go. I recently did a curry with butternut squash, cauliflower and spinach (you toss the spinach in at the last minute) and it called for coriander which I was a bit apprehensive about but it turned out great. I let it cook for 6-8 hours on low and it does well.

Re: What's your fav. crock pot recipe?
Here's one we make the most:
Spicy pork chops 4 pork chops 2 onions chopped 2 celery stalks chopped 1 can stewed tomatoes and diced chiles 1/2 c BBQ sauce 2 T cider vinegar 2 T Worcestershire sauce 1 T lemon juice 1 beef bouillon cube Cook on low 5-6 hours. Then we serve it over egg noodles. It is rather spicy with the chiles so I usually tame it down for the younger kids and just use regular tomatoes. |

Re: What's your fav. crock pot recipe?
I just made this the other night and everyone loved it and it provided ham for other dishes
CROCKPOT SWEET HAM 1 package of brown sugar 1 6-7 lbs bone in ham (rinse) 1 can crushed pineapple Chai tea latte concentrate 1.Spread about 3/4 of the brown sugar into the bottom of the crock of your slow cooker to cover completely. Place ham atop the brown sugar with the flat side facing down. Pour pineapple over the ham. Rub remaining brown sugar over the ham. Pour chai tea latte concentrate over the ham. 2.Place cover on the slow cooker and cook on Low until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the ham reads at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C), about 5 1/2 hours. Baste ham once or twice with juices while cooking. Full disclosure - I got this recipe from allrecipesDOTcom which has a lot of great crockpot recipes |
