Specifically if you had a Doppler you used at home.

I am 11w1d and can find baby's heartbeat in the upper left area AND in the lower right area. I can go right to it every time, but it cannot be heard anywhere other than those 2 spots. DH is having an absolute cow thinking it could be twins. I think twins would be a blast lol So, does it soud like twins or is this normal for a singleton too? Baby is only about 1.5inches right now, and te spots are definitely farther apart than that. This is my first time having a Doppler so I have nothing to compare it to.

Re: A question for twin mamas

I could never figure out what I was hearing with my doppler. It might be that you are picking up your own heartbeat but who knows!

Had an ultrasound today. Only 1 baby. The other "heartbeat" I am finding is the placenta

Re: A question for twin mamas

I thought it might be, but I didn't want to post until I had talked to DP; we had the same experience when she was pg w/ DD & it was also hb & placenta. Hb & placenta do sound different--I still can't tell whether I'm hearing hb or placenta (9.5wks), but I can hear the same thing in two different spots at slightly different rates.
