Men & reading instructions..

Why is it so hard! URGH DH decided to put together the stroller tonight. Ive been waiting for him to get it out of the attic because the box was way to heavy for me to carry down. I told him that I would sit with the instructions to help him out. His comment "why do I need instructions, this is easy"... Half an hour later I still see him fidgeting with the darn thing, so I kept on giving him clues as to what went where. Of course the difference! I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!

I know!! He always acts as if the instructions are not necessary then of course he can't figure it out! Now I just take the instructions and read them then while he gets frustrated I play the 'well I read the instructions and it says do x,y,z...maybe try that' lolol

Mine too. If he gets around to putting stuff together before I do it myself

My husband makes me read the instructions to him. Over and over and over before he starts putting something together, then again while he's actually putting it together.

I almost never read instructions. I'd make a great man, ha.

I am in between. Sometimes I use them and sometimes I don't.

My husband is actually a stickler for reading instructions. I don't like to read instructions, but I don't like to just figure it out myself either. I want someone to walk me through it lol

Re: Men & reading instructions..

My SO has this friend who could memorize the instructions and STILL couldn't find his way out of a cardboard box! We once watched him spend literally 15 minutes trying to close the latch on the back of a uhaul and he couldn't do it. The funny part is that this guy has 2 college degrees... He's book smart, just not life smart. I thought of him when I was changing my windshield wiper the other day...
