I got a lot with my first. Mostly after 30wks. I only got like 4 new ones without my 2nd pregnancy just near my belly button. I'm 34 weeks tomorrow with #3 and not sure how it will go. I'm hoping my body is a pro and used to pregnancy now. but if I do get a few more...oh well. They always fade.

Re: When did the stretchmarks come for you?

I also got lots of stretch marks during my teenage growth spurt, even though I never got tall and was not overweight. I thought for sure I would get tons of them during my pregnancies, but I did not. But nature played a cruel trick on me....I sailed through two pregnancies without a stretch mark, but ended up with a few of them near my belly button with baby #3, literally 2 days before I delivered her she was born the earliest and I had the least amount of weight gain with her, so it doesn't make sense. I just laugh about it, honestly.

The first thing I said after pushing my oldest out was...."Are those stretch marks???"

I couldn't see them until he popped out. Then, I had several...nothing to serious though.

I got them onto breasts in early pregnancy with my first, but I didn't get any on my abdominal area until a week before I had him and them were all really low.

With ds2 I got tons on my belly and dd added a few more to my belly.

I have BAD genetics for them!!! I used vit e oil and lotion all through ds1 pregnancy and after I got them anyway, I threw in the towel half way through ds2 pregnancy and didn't bother at all with dd.

I don't mind the stretch marks half as much as I do my stupid varicose veins!!!!

Mine all came in the last week, with all three babies. Also, all after their EDDs.

However, the rest of me has been covered with them for 15+ years.

I had stretch marks from puberty on my boobs and hips. So I knew my stomach would look like a battlefield:/
I lost 12lbs the first three months with this pregnancy... Around 16wks I started noticing them on my butt... Ha. Around 26wks they showed up on my stomach. I am now 32wks and have only gained 15lbs so far. These dark purple lines just keep on spreading

Re: When did the stretchmarks come for you?

Mine are terrible and deep and itch. I got them in the very beginning. They are everywhere, but with DS they seemed to diminish after birth. I am hoping the same happens with DD. Plus I don't do anything to prevent them.

Re: When did the stretchmarks come for you?

I have them on my boobs, from the beginning of pregnancy when they initially grew. I had one small one on my hip before delivery, and then a few more on my hips appeared afterwards. Along with more on my boobs from my milk coming in.

Re: When did the stretchmarks come for you?

I also have some on my hips from growth spurts in my youth, but I am now 10 days PP and didn't seem to get any new ones. I gained 37 lbs, pretty much all belly, and also slathered myself in a homemade mix of coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, and avocado oil.

Re: When did the stretchmarks come for you?

I got a ton with my first pregnancy. Probably around 34 weeks or so? Can't remember exactly. I didn't really get any new ones with subsequent pregnancies as far as I know, but I got so many with the first it's hard to tell.
