Biting 8 month old

Ok so my 8 month old has taken to biting lately with his newly acquired four front teeth. Nothing seems to deter him from chopping down when he gets frustrated or finishes eating. I have tried taping his bottom, I have told him no biting, ect but he is so young he just doesn't get it and he gets frustrated and hungry and tired and the biting gets worse. Needing some ideas to get this under control ASAP because this just isn't going to be pleasant until then. Poor kid doesn't take a bottle either and he has already drawn blood once today. Please any ideas would be pleasantly accepted at this time I just don't want to let him go hungry but the biting needs to stop.

When my son started that, I would pull his hair. Not hard, but enough to get his attention. It only took a few times for him to stop biting me.

Tell him no firmly but not loudly. Remove him and set him down for a few minutes. Return to nursing. Do it the same way every time.

It stopped for me after 3 times

Re: Biting 8 month old

It really depends on your biter. Quinn was weaned to my milk in a bottle by 9 months due to his desire to bite all feeding long. I just could not do it. Finn allI had to do was say OUCH! NO! really loud then remove him from booby to get him to stop. I would see if the phase passes and then go from there.
