Meals for two?

Ok me and df aren't getting married on Saturday and we will be living together after July 1st (military/work stuff). I need to know how to plan meals and cook for just the two of us. It gets so expensive eating out. I can cook anything but have a shellfish allergy. Any good recipes or tips would be appreciated

I cook for basically my husband and I. I have a 16 month old but he eats very little and definitely not a whole portion. Either cut every recipe in half or make it and save the leftovers. Easy peasy.

Re: Meals for two?

Taste of Home online has a section of recipes that serve two people. When it was just me and my husband I usually made 4 servings though because he would eat two then I would have one left over for lunch the next day.

Keep a bunch of spices and herbs on hand. It's easy to throw together a sauteed or stir-fryed main dish. Just cut up a bunch of veggies and if you want, add a meat (diced chicken, ground beef, etc.). Heat up coconut or other healthy oil in a frying pan or wok over medium-high heat, add spices, garlic &/or onion. Let the spices roast in the oil for a couple minutes, stirring them so they don't burn. Then add your veggies & meat. Stir well until everything is well cooked. Serve over rice, quinoa, etc.
