It's still pretty early. I'm not small but I'm not huge, and I don't think I could hear anything until close to 10 weeks. I'm 14w5d & I still have to search sometimes.

yeah logically i know its most likely too early, but worry wort me has to wonder lol!

Im not huge but not tiny either.. but I rented one last pregnancy with DS, and found him with no problem at 9 weeks. I will try again in a few days. I know to look super low.

Yep, low...it also helps to know where baby is situated. It was hard to hear baby A at first b/c it's so low. It's still low & off to the side, so I can find it pretty quickly if I roll on my side. Baby B has always been easier b/c it's up @ the top of my uterus & more toward center.

Where the placenta is affects it a lot too. If you have an anterior placenta, it will be longer before you find it and before you feel movement. This is the first time I've used one and I was 10 weeks. I had been trying since 8. But even 10 is early. That's why the OB/MW don't check til 12 weeks.

I was around 9 weeks with this pregnancy. Took a few days of trying. Should be soon! Good luck.

9 weeks and 6 days. Baby was low and to the far right. It took me about 30 minutes to find.

I was 9wks2days with my last but I didn't try earlier(got it in the mail that day!). The only way to find the baby was by putting the probe way over to the side on an even plane with my pubic bone--but way to the side!!

Re: how early with a sonoline b?

8 weeks is really early. In another forum I'm on, a few ladies have a Doppler, and they sometimes could find it at 9-10 weeks, but even then it was a crapshoot on whether they could find it again another day. Gotta remember that you're looking for a teeny tiny heartbeat that is only a few millimeters big, and if baby is still behind your pubic bone that might make it harder to find too. I think most of them said they could consistently find it by something like 14 or 15 weeks, but sometimes even then it was hard to find.
