Yep we do it in the oven too! Sooo easy and it cooks evenly (no weird chewy lumps).

I do it this way too, but I put the bacon on a rack first so the fat drips off and makes it a little bit healthier.

That's what I was thinking, bake it on a cooling rack seems perfect but may not be good for the rack. What do you use?

I do mine on a broiler pan lined in foil. Most of the fat passes through the slotted top and ends up on the foil. The bacon is then not sitting in so much grease as it cooks. I like to think this makes it not soo bad for us!

I put mine on paper towels right out of the oven. But if you do a lower temperature for a longer amount of time more fat is rendered out. And this will sound silly but some times this makes the bacon too crispy.
