Re: Heart arthymia/chestpains/palpitations

Yes I agree no more family doc for me...gonna move on to the cardiologist to get more direct answers im on this holter monitor for a couple more weeks..total of 30 days so they will get a good reading of my heart this last month. I havent been taking any prenatals as they make me sick and i know this cant be good for my levels!Think ill start today....also they said in blood work that I was alittle bit anemic like 12.4 iron level, my thyroid was suggested to be hyperactive and and I have a high ANA TITER (which ive had for 10 years) because they say I have an autoimmune disease..but they arent sure what...so wonder if any of my symptoms could be due to those few things? ...ahhh I wish I was a doctor!

Hyperactive thyroid and anemia can cause palpitations. BUT, you should still see a cardiologist. I'm sorry you are going through this. Palpitations are awful!

I have always had PVC since I was in high school. They come and go, but I have been getting way more with this pregnancy. I know from seeing doctors about it that it's not going to hurt me, but it still feels freaky. I believe the increase is from the increased blood volume.

Re: Heart arthymia/chestpains/palpitations

I have experienced this on and off for years. It does seem to be more frequent during pregnancy and during times of stress. I have a heart murmur that is caught by every doctor I see, I really do need to see a specialist just to be sure. It is very scary I agree

I'm doing great! Thanks for asking! I had an appointment today. I lost 3lbs since last month and my b/p was 110/70. Everything is better than I could ask for! I do have an echo scheduled Monday at 9am so after that we'll know more about my heart function but the ekg was great so we aren't expecting any problems.
