I was so excited watching my electric yellow stain on my only worn once BGE disappear in 2 hours of Florida sun! Hooray!

I always sun my diapers even if they don't have stain mainly because I feel like the sun somehow sanitize them and I'm very OCD with even tiniest stains. But I'm afraid it will cause the PUL to crack, fade, or any damage that you can think of. Do you think too much sunning will damage it?

And for those who use Lemon, Bac-Out (sp) & Calgon what is your wash routine? TIA

The sun has never gotten any of my stains out. It hasn't even lightened them. I wet them and lay them out flat outside. I live in Texas and in the summer the sun is BRIGHT and I haven't gotten any stains out

I wouldn't have continued to cloth diaper my LO if it wasn't for sunning! There is no way I'd put a stained prefold/pocket/fitted back on my LO with EBF stains even if it had been thoroughly washed.

...I'm not sure what I'm going to do when winter comes around...

I am new to CDing, and before getting started, I would read this over and over. I had a hard time believing how effective it would be until I had my first stains in my brand new dipes. I had to "see it to believe it", and it really works. It's amazing. I love doing the diaper laundry and laying out my dipes in the sun

Does anyone still do this in the wintertime?

I feel like "sun" did work on most of my CDs....But I am still left with some stains that I think are from both (daycare use of Desitin -eekk) and my own homemade balm w/ coconut oil, etc. Does anyone know how to rid those stains? Keeping CDs white is kind of addicting ...esp when non CD friends want to "inspect" them. LOL
