Re: Moms of 3+

Not quite according to the poll, but we got GB and then went GGB. I was truly terrified that #5 would be another girl. We tried all the methods of swaying with #4 to get a boy then did nothing with #5 and got a boy.

So, does it seem from the responses that a person needs to have FOUR to have a better chance of getting at least one of each sex? LOL, ack!!
These are the families I know that fit the criteria:
GGG
BBB
BBB
BBG
GGGG
BBBB
and I know a lot of mamas with two of the same sex who say they would only plan a third if they could be guaranteed that it would be the sex that they don't already have, but that they don't want to take the risk! (of course knowing that they would love it just as fiercely no matter what)

Re: Moms of 3+

My mom's family was heavily girls, and then me and all my girl cousins all had boys, until my niece was born last fall, and then my DD this spring. It had been 12 years since anyone had a girl! One of my BFFs has 3 girls and just had a boy

All the families I know with 3+ kids and the first 2 the same gender:

BBBBGB
BBGBBGB
BBBB
BBBB
BBB
GGBBB
BBBB
GGBB

I definitely believe some couples' genes are predisposed to produce one gender or the other.
