If I Like BGE's and Grovia AIO's, Will I like Swaddlebees Simplex?

I need some enabling! lol

There's a Swaddlebees Simplex on CL right now that I want so badly to try. It's only prepped and used a couple times. I feel like the $20 asking price is a bit steep, but maybe not?

I watched a video on the simplex and it looks like there's an attached soaker that you can stuff or lay on top?

I've heard it's comparable in absorbency to a BGE. From the video, I don't see how that's possible.

Anyhow, go ahead, enable me or don't. LOL

Thanks, all!

Asking price sounds about right if the condition is as described. I hated mine enough to sell them before they were even on the bum. It was bulky and I still had to stuff it. It wasn't as soft after I prepped it as my Grovia or BGE either. Once I had it in hand I knew I wouldn't like it.

As a diehard oBGE fan, they just don't compare.
They aren't a bad diaper, just not really comparable in fit or fabric. The birdseye is all lumpy and bunchy on the smaller settings. And yes, I am annoyed that I have to stuff an AIO. But, for a cotton inner OS AIO, there isn't much else out there.
I can't comment on absorbency, though, I've only use the Simplex on light wetters.

I didn't like the OS, but I really like their sized simplex.

I have both obge and swaddlebees

swaddlebees are thinner in the crotch area and I like the stay dry option

As far as absorbency maybe obge has a slight edge. I can use both for overnight. I sometimes slip a doubler in there though for both

I think they are comparable or maybe a little better than new bge, but they don't compare to obge. They are narrow (not as narrow as grovia) and not as absorbent, imo. However, they have some super cute prints and I own quite a few. I just don't leave them on the bum very long. I would definitely try them because many people prefer them - a personal preference and might work better for your baby? I don't like side snaps so I prefer o/s. If you prefer trim diapers and side snaps get the fitted.

I love them. I prefer them over oBGE for drying time. As a working mom with DD in full time daycare, I need to be able to run diaper laundry, start to finish, in one evening. The Simplex are the longest drying of our AIOs (we also use Tots Bots, Freetimes, and SmartBottoms), but still finish in a double run on low in the dryer.

LOL - you all are as wishy washy as I am about buying it!

Any other opinions to keep me from contacting the seller? lol

I never tried OBGE so can't compare. I do like the fit of the Simplex medium on my son. It's much trimmer than the AIO's. Yes, the long soaker can get tucked under and agitates out. One of the staff at my local CD store pretty much just uses the sized ones.
