End of Pregnancy, how long can the very low feeling go on for?

So I am at 38 weeks. I've always assumed this kid will wait until around it's due date. If I walk alot or by the end of the day I have that feeling, like the tampon/diva cup is no longer in place (even though there is nothing actually in there) So the baby is low enough or pushing down enough to feel like a tampon that needs readjusting. (is that weird? I hope other people have felt that)

Can it really take 2 weeks for the baby to come if I feel this every day? I'd kinda hope it does because we have lot of plans over the next 2 weeks. It's happen some over the last few weeks but i'd say at least since the beginning of the weekend it's every day/night.

I've had pretty crazy very early labor contractions for like the passed month or so, my uterus hardens and stays hard for several minutes. I've also went from somewhat constipated to very not in the last few days... which makes me wonder about the body clearing itself out...

Curious of your experiences?..

Yes, you can still go another 2 weeks like that or more. It is amazing how you feel like they are going to fall right out and dilated a lot but still no baby.

DS1 was so low I was certain a hand was going to come out every time he punched. It can definitely last two more weeks. I want to say around 36w he dropped SUPER low (he was low to start with), and stayed that way until 40w3d when I went into labor (he was born at 40w6d).

Yep both mine were super low for the last 3 weeks. My Ds was so low that it was impossible to dtd to help get him out...the appt after we tried my mw confirmed his head was literally right there. That was at my 38wk appt I think. My cervix stayed posterior though. I had him at 40w5d after having my appt the day before and finally dilating to a 4 (was barely a 1 the week before and posterior) and getting a membrane sweep. My firstborn (dd) was low but not quite as bad...the dr with her guessed she was already +2 in the last week or so. It certainly makes things less comfortable! You are almost to the finish line though!!

Well my contractions have been 8-9 minutes apart since 4am. It still could stall out but looking like in my case maybe it is the end

I was like that for the last 4-5 weeks. Honestly, I felt like he was going to fall out at any minute. Every time he would move, I felt like he was falling out.. it was horrible!

Keep us posted! Hopefully LO will stay put a bit longer so that you can get all of your last minute tasks completed. My babies all get low and stay low. Our midwife could very easily touch number 4's head by maybe 36 weeks. I was several cm dilated and if you touched her head she would wiggle. Then #5 was even lower I had to have an ultrasound for growth at like 37 weeks and the babies head was so engaged they couldn't measure it. The tech inverted the table in hopes that baby would "float" up a bit. I had eaten tacos for lunch. Hanging upside down after eating tacos at near 9mo pregnant sucks

It's crazy, 6 hours later still 8-10min apart. It was like this for around 10 hours with my first.. I guess I just expected it to go quicker this time. I'm been working on a sewing project and only can time them if I sit and wait, otherwise I wouldnt' even notice. Had they started after I got up I really think I wouldn't have a clue now

Odd.

Oh geeze...it doesn't really count b/c of it bring twins, I think, but I've hada baby way down low for 5+ weeks now. At 33ish weeks I started wearing a support belt to keep baby A up just a little...I've been having pretty significant pressure as well as kicks to the cervix at least that long. They've been trying to rule out a clubfoot on baby A but can't b/c she's so low.
