Has anyone taken Dr Christophers Birth Prep before?

These ones? The midwives at the birth center recommend them and I did order some this morning but I wanted to see if anyone else had taken them and if you felt they helped you to labor easier?

There was a thread here a while ago that was pretty long.
Some swear by the formula, while other's will caution against it (regarding black and/or blue cohosh).
I thought about trying Gentle Birth Formula w/o blue cohosh this time around.

I took it with baby #6. I didn't think it did anything. It certainly did not shorten my labor at all. My labor was 15 hours long. I was not effaced much more then any of my other labors. I took it as directed on the bottle.
