They said it's a Chevy Aveo, I guess. I know Spirit even charges for carry-ons, but I wonder if they'd just let us carry the car seat stuff on anyway? If not, We'll figure it out I'm sure. We're taking a stroller and checking it at the counter, maybe I can zip tie the boot into it and stuff the AA into our checked luggage. Or, just count the boot as one of our "personal items".

i would leave the boot attached to the car-seat and just take it off right before installing it, that is how i got away with putting my DD's infant carrier base in the overhead compartment instead of being told to gate check it. Plus it means 1 less thing to carry.
