I am intrigued by these man tights!

Shoot, I rarely have on pants at home! I just realized that I hardly dress my youngest, she wears a shirt and a diaper, usually a flat under a cover. My teen is dressed everyday, but the other 3 are pants less most of the time

Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

If we are staying home my oldest just stay in pjs while my baby normally gets clothes just because he is normally a mess after breakfast. During the summer I do more diapers and t shirts as well. Just easier for me to deal with.

Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

If the weather is hot, I'll usually just dress a baby in a onesie and diaper, even if I am going out.

Toddlers rarely keep their clothes on, so I don't fight it. At home they can wear just a diaper or a shirt and diaper. If potty training, they're often completely naked. I will insist they wear some clothes when we're in public or having guests.

4 and up, we start working on modesty. I do insist on shorts covering underwear. Boys can go shirtless if it's hot, but girls need a tee shirt. Also, I start encouraging them to get dressed and undressed behind closed doors.

Tees and gym pants or some days it's PJs if we're not going anywhere.

Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

My big kids dress themselves. If we're not going anywhere, they often get away with pj's all day. The baby (born last January) has been in fleece sleepers most of her life because it's been super cold here. In nicer weather, I'll put her in some onesie outfits (with shorts or pants), but we don't do the diaper-only thing here unless it's really, really hot (no a/c in most of the house). Even for the beach this summer I got her a little rash guard shirt to go with her swim diaper.

Thank you all! I personally find their little fluffy bums beyond adorable! I am happy to know that I am not the only one who does this! Most of the twins smaller outfits we were given are sleepers and such, I hope the diapers fit under them!

Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

We all wear clothes of some kind here. I wouldn't want to hang out in my underpants so I offer my kids the same respect and dress them.

I don't think there's really anything cuter than a baby in just a diaper (especially a cloth one) so when it's warm enough, that's what she wears. And definitely if it's hot out.

My children are pretty much nudists. I can't get them to even keep a diaper or panties on. Even when it's 65 in the house during winter, they strip down and are happy as can be stark naked. My youngest tried taking all her clothes off at great grandma'a house the other day. This poor woman thinks children should be in 3-4 layers of clothing at all times. She just about had a heart attack.
We're having number 3 at the end of May and even as a newb she will probably wear only a cloth diaper, tshirt and possibly socks if her feet tend to run cold.
