Re: What type of bottle to use ?

I was lucky with my little guy, he goes between the bottle & breast no problem. We use the Medela bottles with the same nipples you get on the ready to feed formula at the hospital, first one we tried was a success. We also have a couple comotomo bottles!

Re: What type of bottle to use ?

For those of you with medela bottles, can u use any nipple with them ? I bought calma but it's not working for us and I haven't been able to find a regular slow flow nipple by medela . Do other brands fit ?

I am not sure if other brands but dr browns makes a preemie nipple that I find to actually be slower than slow flow which is great because many slow flows are very fast flows in my opinion.

The dr browns preemie nipple is standard size and so is the medela bottle so I would think it would work.

Re: What type of bottle to use ?

If you are interested I have some disposable nipple and bottle units that were given to us when Dd was sent home from NICU I could send FFS. They are premie flow and fit standard bottle necks. I just attached them directly to the nicu's medela pump. Some sealed un used bottles and some used and washed. Attachment 170571
