My sister thinks she lost her mucous plug...

if its just part of it, probably normal

She may have, but it can come back and it doesnt always mean a sign of labor being close....keep us updated(sorry typing 1 handed-left,otherwise id type more

i lost part of my plug about that time. i was told by my midwife it "grows" back. i didn't go into labor until 38wks. good luck to her though! maybe she should let her dr know?

you can lose part or all of it at any time and even numerous times during a pregnancy. It rejuvinates itself if it is needed. Sometimes though its just a bit of it and just icky gooey discharge that becomes "normal" and more frequent until the end.
