Re: Taci is a Tummy Sleeper,Make Me Feel Better About This
If she is sleeping on her own mattress (not in your bed) you could get an angel care baby monitor: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re...E262S?v=glance
We also used a halo sleep sack instead of blankets so there was not any loose bedding. There are different opinions on this, but sleep positioners may not be safe. We tossed ours after hearing about a local baby who suffocated on this. They are considered by many experts to be just another piece of soft bedding that has no place in a baby's bed: http://www.kidsindanger.org/04v1/new...ews.asp#200307 http://www.sidsalliance.org/expectan...afeinfant.html ETA: My mom's sister died of sids. I don't think everyone needs the reassurance of an angelcare monitor, but it made me feel I'd have a chance to revive her if anything did happen.
