Re: S/O...if money wasn't an issue...
We'll definitely have one more. I loved being pregnant, giving birth...the whole thing. We might adopt one, too. So 3 total...no more. I want to make sure I have enough time for my kiddos. I'm not a very organized person!

Re: S/O...if money wasn't an issue...
shhh wanna know a secret? we're pregnant! This is #5 for us. We always said 4 or 6... but I don't do pregnancy well, and #4 has lots of medical needs so we'll see. Once my youngest seems "old enough" we'll start fostering kids. We'd also like to work with an organization that brings kids from 3rd world countries to the U.S. for medical care. You take the kids to appts and so on. They stay for 4-24 months depending on their needs.

Re: S/O...if money wasn't an issue...
Dh would pretty much have as many as I would agree to. But with his long work hours, and my miserable pregnancies...
If we were rich enough that he didn't have to work, who knows? 4 or 5? As it is, I think 3 pregnancies is all I can take. Maybe an adopted 4th sometime down the line.

Re: S/O...if money wasn't an issue...
We've always wanted to shoot for 4, God-willing, regardless of money. God has always provided for us. We've never had a lot of money, so we've learned how to make due with what we have. I just love the fact that my hubby has been so supportive of me being a stay-at-home mom, even if other people think I'm just sitting at home wasting my degree! If we have more than 4, so be it. Right now I'm just trying to gather up my energy for the 2 at home!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: S/O...if money wasn't an issue...
like one of the pp's said, I dont think I would ever feel done!
My oldest is bio but the baby is adopted, and any future children would be too. So, money IS an issue b/c unfortunatley it cost alot $$$ to adopt! But if it werent, I would EASILY adopt at least 4 more for a total of 6. Myabe a sibling group or twins? I have two girls, I would want one more girl, maybe from China? Then two boys from Guatemala, then who knows! Now the real problem is dh. He is very sure he doesnt want that large of a family. Sadly with adoption you cant have any *oops* babies! LOL! He has agreed to one more guaranteed, then *maybe* one more after that but he says not so much. I bet I can work on him for two more (total of 4) but I think thats it Does anyone else have a dh that is baby resistant and that doesnt want lots more babies, but you do?

Re: S/O...if money wasn't an issue...
I don't think I would ever stop having babies if money wasn't an issue
![]() No really, I think 6 would be great but it seems like everyone always wants one more than they have so who knows... Seriously, I have 2 and realistically would love to have 4 but am planning to put a couple of years before TTC again. I love love love my boys but it has been difficult having them so close together. Money IS an issue for us. We both grew up very poor and I don't want my children to have to live that life. I hope that doesn't sound shallow, but we will only have as many as we can pay college tuition for (luckily in VA we can prepay their tuition starting at birth!) . I am on a 20 year payback plan for my student loans and I don't want to put that yoke around my children's necks if they decide to go to school. As for a car, designer clothes, etc etc they are on their own, I just feel strongly about college. Of course, we won't tell them this and pray they get scholarships so we can take a European vacation .![]() DH is not convinced into having ANY more right now but his issues are purely financial. It just makes me sad to think of never being pregnant again, never nursing another baby, etc.

Re: S/O...if money wasn't an issue...
At first I wanted only two, then I got that and had my tubes tied. Now I want two more. S/O and I are working on the $$$ to get my tubal reversed so we can have more. Who knows if I will change my mind if we reach four.
