DD started taking solids twice a day about a week ago, and since then I've noticed a MAJOR decrease in my milk supply even between solid food feedings. I have been drinking traditional medicinals mother's milk tea...3-4 classes a day along w/about 2 glasses of yogi tea for nursing moms in the evening. I'm saving fenugreek as a last resort because the smell makes me nausious after a few days. Should I cut out the second feeding for a while yet? She used to nurse 5 times before the second feeding and now she's nursing about 8 times a day w/the second feeding.

Do you nurse her first and then feed her the jarred foods? Thats is what I would do.

I was having a similar issue & I switched to offering the breast before AND after feedings. Now we're doing great.

Could AF be coming? That would cause a severe drop in supply for me.

I was gonna say, AF (the two times I've had it since Ian was born) caused a MAJOR drop for me. AF is weird like that. My milk always has come back full force after AF is over though.
