HELP my kids hair is a rats nest
LOL
Ok, my son has really long hair for a 16mo and especially for a boy... DH and I both love his hair but every time he wakes up in the morning or from a nap the whole back of his head is MATTED. I have to break out a comb and water everytime. I tried just letting it go for the day and leaving it until before bedtime but he wound up with dreadlocks. Its BAD. Short of cutting it, I don't know what else to do! He won't wear a hat so caps are out. Does anyone know of a REALLY good detangler or something???TIA! |

Re: HELP my kids hair is a rats nest
Detangler is all I can think of. I used all types as a kid and they all worked wonders!

Re: HELP my kids hair is a rats nest
Johnson and Johnson makes a really good spray detangler. We use it for Nathan too! He's got a big head full of curls and whenever he is in the car too long or has a nap, the back is all matted too. LOL
It's J&J and in a green spray bottle - smells like watermelon too! YUM!

Re: HELP my kids hair is a rats nest
Try combing it with a bunch of the detangler still in it rather than after you rinse it out. You probably already know to try that, but just wanted to suggest it in case you didn't.
