Diaper Swappers

So last night my oldest said he had to go potty. I said ok come downstairs & go potty. Then he tells me he hurt his foot. So me & DH are looking all over trying to figure out what's hurt, touching here & there, looking over it closely, having him walk accross the room to check for a limp... I said "Where did you hurt your foot?" He replies "In the garage." Ok he's not been out of the house in days b/c he's sick, much less in the garage. So I ask "What happened?" He says "A dinosour stepped on my foot & made it hurt." Ok obviously he's not hurt. Where do they come up w/this stuff? And more importantly, how are you supposed to NOT crack up laughing?

I hear ya!

My little stinker of a 3 year old comes out and just as we're about to get upset, she say's (in her little angelic voice) "I just need another kiss and a hug."

Gets us every time!

My Dd would come out and say I need to tell you something. And we would say ok make it quick, then she would have to think of something to tell us. It usually ended up being I love you, but I think it was because she could tell our patience was wearing thin. LOL

well..ds is to young for anything like this yet.....but I remember putting my parents through h**l at bedtime by doing things like that! I would ask for a drink of water, i need to pee, my foot hurts, its to sunny, its to quiet, i want another hug, i love you........my best one I think was the "my bed feels weird"

LOL! We totally go through this with Mason some nights! He kills me!

The worst part is, that DH and I have to hurry and turn our heads because we are laughing so hard! If Mace sees us laughing, then he knows he has won.

ds has just hit this stage of testing the waters! he will do something, and we will tell him not etc, and he will look at us all cute and smile, and me and dh have to look away to try not to laugh.
