Monsters under the bed?

i agree with the monster repellant and the sweeping them out! the other thing (may sound silly) but when my 7yo was afarid of monsters we were always telling him that there were NO monsters bc their mommies and daddies wanted them at home in their OWN beds LOL we also did the repellant...GL

I vacuum under my twins' bunkbed at night to get rid of the "scary spiders."

We sprayed them last night, and then set up a wall of dinosaurs-- When he woke to pee he had a breakdown and joined me in bed but it's a start! My parents are sending me the stuffed "Little Foot" (Land Before Time) they have from my brother for him--- I might try to tell him that he'll scare off any monsters.....

LOL that might make it worse. He still has a fear of vacuums.

I got monster be gone mister from Northern Essence when my 4 yo ds had a brief period of monster fear...it smelled like chocolate chip cookie and was yummy! It worked well and he loved to spray it under the beds...

Definitely agree with the monster spray. We used that for my DS when he was about that age. You might want to try adding a few drops of some essential oil if you have some, or perfume/cologne...something to give it fragrance. And if the smell is a familiar one, it might be reassuring if/when he wakes up at night. We used some of DH's cologne.
