both my boys sat up completely on their own at 6 months ( 1 one week before 6 months actually) for extended periods.
1 crawled at 7 months and the other at 7 1/2 months

DD crawled (up on hands and knees) and sat unassisted (by herself) around the same time.. just before 8 months.

DS started to crawl BEFORE he sat up unassisted!!!

He started crawling a little before 6 months, and sat unassisted around 6 1/2 months.

Crawling: 9mos.

That was Dominic. Can't remember with Aidan, but I'm pretty sure they were close to the same. Very close.

DS is 6 months old and doesn't do either.

He's nowhere near sitting!

But he can get EVERYWHERE, and he's trying to crawl. He gets up on all fours, but puts his head down. Or he'll get on his hands with he head way up, and try to get on his knees, but it won't work. lol.

Both ds and dd were sitting un asisted at 4 months, crawling at 6months.

Everyone has their issues, lol.
