Mirena and milk supply?

I just made an appointment with my doc to ask about getting one. I'm glad it doesn't affect milk supply. I was put on bc but stopped in less than a week because it reaaly dropped milk production. I'm glad I saw this thread.

what kind of bc did your dr. put you on? Any of the combo pills (with estrogen and progesterone) are known to reduce milk supply. Hope you got your supply back up!

It's only progestin and shouldn't have affected my supply but it did. It came back soon after I stopped taking it.
