LOL mama this baby must be ur first u have alot of time to just star huh??lol That made me gigle... All babys eyes change to me right now they looked gray kinda greenish...

Eye color isn't set until at least the first birthday. Dd's color was a beautiful steel grey and we got comments on it all the time. Now right around her 9-month mark they started changing to brown. And she has that same shirt she's wearing right now to bed, btw!

I guess it's all in my head, then. I guess there are just kind of slightly-purlish shades mixed in with the rest of the gray... Haha, thanks for the responses, mamas.

Still really weird, though, given that every ancestor and relative she's had, as far back as anyone can remember, had brown eyes. And, yup, you're right--I do spend a lot of time just staring.

I have also heard it's not uncommon for children's eyes to change color in the first years of their life.

I think your DD is beautiful, and has beautiful eyes, I think they look dark blue very similar shade that my DD had for a while, hers have not lightend up and turned a regular medium shade of blue.

My 2yo had an unusual shade of eye color like that when he was that age. His eyes turned a beautiful chocolate brown like his mama My 4yo dd had eyes that were blue, then grey, then finally they decided to be greenish. My new baby has really blue eyes though, so we will see what they turn out to be. Definitely they can still change for in the first year and I think your dd may end up with brown eyes.
