Looking for a babydoll??!!

I'm looking for a special baby doll for my dd that takes a pacifier and a bottle but doesn't make any noise and isn't so heavy that she can't carry it around. I realize that you can find tons of these at Walmart or TRU but I want something special. Like how when I was little the Madame Alexander dolls were special! If you know of something that might work please let me know

TIA,
Shawndra

I just found an organic cotton Waldorf-style doll by Under the Nile at TRU yesterday. It's about 12" tall and wearing the sweetest outfit. It was $14.99

They don't take pacifiers or bottles do they? She has one that doesn't and prefers the ones that she can stick it inside the baby dolls mouth!
Thanks for letting me know

Re: Looking for a babydoll??!!

I really recommend Baby Stella. She doesn't make any noise and is very cute and soft. She comes with a magnetic pacifier and you can buy various accessories for her, including a feeding set that comes with a magnetic bottle. DD LOVES hers and calls her "Paci Babydoll"--she sleeps with her every night. We got ours at a specialty baby/kids store, but I searched for "Baby Stella" online and came up with lots of results for places that sell the dolls and the accessories. Actually, it looks like Target online sells at least some of the dolls and accessory sets!

That looks really cute! Does the paci have an end on it...you know like a nipple or is it flat with a magnet? Also is there a bottle for her?

TIA

Re: Looking for a babydoll??!!

It's flat w/ a magnet inside. And the paci stays on pretty well, but is easy for little ones to pull off when they want to. Her diaper and clothes also come off and can be changed.
