Me too. DD was very congested as a newborn. The steam seemed to help her. We actually replaced our shower curtain with a clear one just so she could see mommy and feel reassured. I make faces and talk to her through it.

Yeah, showers aren't really considered a necessity in my life. If I get one in at least every other day I consider it a success. When my LO was tiny she was usually pretty content in her bouncy chair right outside the shower. If I knew she wouldn't last, I just waited until DH came home. Then I took a LOOOOOONG shower because it was such a nice break. Sometimes that's the only place to get a little peace and quiet. I say, don't stress if you can't get one in every once in a while.
