Vegan Birthday Cake Recipes?

My ds is about to turn one and he is allergic to milk and eggs. We want to make a yummy cake (with frosting even) they he could eat. Does anyone have any recipes? Our family doesn't eat much meat but we have always used dairy products so we'd also be interested in some cookbooks to try if anyone knows some good ones.

Here's the one we use.

Crazy Cake:
3 cups flour, 2 tsp soda, 2 cups sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1/3 cup cocoa, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 Tbsp vinegar, 1 cup oil, 2 cups water.

Sift first 5 ingredients into 9x13 pan. Add next 3 ingredients. Pour water on top and blend thoroughly with fork. Do not beat. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

Easy chocolate cake ever!!!!!

I pair it with the following fudge frosting:

4 Tbsp cocoa, 1 stick margarine, 1 lb powder sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 4 tbsp milk
Cook cocoa, margarine, and milk until fudge consistency. Take off heat and add vanilla and powder sugar (do so gradually you may not need all of sugar). Beat after each addition of sugar until its spreadable. This hardens FAST! I put extra in a container in the fridge and keep as fudge.

The books how it all vegan, the garden of vegan, and la dolce vegan have a lot of good recipes in them. I know at least one (and maybe all 3) have vegan cake and icing recipes. I would definately recommend checking them.
