MRI is tomorrow and I think he is getting a cold!

OK we have waited what seems like forever to get ds's MRI scheduled. Really to get to tht bottom of this we have been working since we noticed a problem around 9 or 10 months in his development and he will be um 3 in a few weeks.
Now yesterday and the day before every now and then through the day he would talk with a little rasp in his voice. Now today he has had it since he woke up. He has no fever and acts fine, so it is probably just a little cold setting in. If he is still like this tomorow we will call in the am to let them know but if we have to reschedule it will not be for a while. Plus we have in laws flying in today to help with youngest ds while we are there. We have no family here we are in KY and the closest, them, are in AZ. I know the MRI is fine if he just has a cold, its the fact that they are sedating him that makes it tricky. I did find out yesterday that they will be i=using an oral sedation only, now if that doesnt work as it doesnt always in kids with sensory issues then again reschedule and we do it under PICU anesthesia. DH is a resident doc so he looked up the med they will be using and it isnt contraindicated unless we give him other meds like atylenol cold which we dont, but you never know. I dont want him to be sick poor guy, at least he isnt acting like hes sick.
