Smile Wipes Solutions Etc (what'd ya use/do?)

Im about to venture into cloth wipes. I have seen the baby bits & read free recipes. Im just wondering what everyone else's routine is so I can get a head start instead of trial & error =)
1. What solution do ya use?
2. Where do ya keep 'em (container, wet/dry)?
3. Any tips/tricks for a newbie?

Thanks so much

Honestly, I have used the baby bits but I think that it was too strong for DD's skin. She has super sensitive skin.

So, I just use cheapy baby washcloths and wet them with plain water when I need to use them.

1. What solution do ya use?
- My favorite is 1 T baby wash, 1 T baby oil, mixed with water to fill a 32 oz water bottle. I also published a bunch of wipe solution recipes.

2. Where do ya keep 'em (container, wet/dry)?
- I keep my wipes dry in a commercial wipe container and the solution in a water bottle (labeled with Mr. Yuk) and wet the wipes as needed.

3. Any tips/tricks for a newbie?
- Keep trying different things until you find the one you like best, then go with it.

I use Northern Essence foaming wipes solution - I love it, have the regular size for the nursery/home and the travel size for the diaper bag!

The best thing that has worked for me was;

2 cups hot water in a disposable wipes container
1 tsp regular baby shampoo
2 squirts Grape Seed oil
10 drops either Tea Tree or Lavender essential oil

Mix, then I lay my baby washcloths in there and voila! Good for 5 days at least. I tried many different ways and somehow they started smelling after a day or two, but this way, it stays "fresh", smells nice and I know it really cleans baby's bum. I couldn't just do water, I always thought that it never really cleaned, especially poop exposions .

1. What solution do ya use? Dixie Drops now, did try making my own but then I had problems with my pockets repelling.....gonna try honey chunks soon

2. Where do ya keep 'em (container, wet/dry)? in a sposie wipe container, was wetting as needed but with a wiggly/impatiend 16mo old I am now trying my first few days of wet ahead so far, its easier & I just wet about 8 at a time, refill when gone or change them out for new after a few days & I'm doing dipes

3. Any tips/tricks for a newbie? you never know what you'll like so try a few products/ways before deciding

I use booty bath (from diaperware) and I melt the cube in boiling water and then, when cooled, put it in a spray bottle. I store my wipes dry and spray them as needed. I also often use just water.

When I'm "on the ball" I will mix up a batch of Honey Chunks in a Huggies container, and put the wipes in there - I try for about 2 days worth, but we use the for EVERYTHING! lol

When I'm lazy, I just grab a dry one and wet it in the sink as we go.

Am going to try the Honey Chunks foaming solution as soon as my wholesale order get here!
