Hershey's ad

This ad is driving me bonkers. It keeps popping up and covering up what I'm doing, and "snowing" huge snowflakes over my entire screen -- and when that happens I can't type at all. clicking the X to close it doesn't seem to get rid of it. I'm okay with ads all along the sides, even flashing ones, etc. but I honestly would just avoid the site until this ad passes if I didn't just post a bunch of FSOT threads that I need to check/update. I was going to put a smiley here but I can't get to the smileys right now - they are covered up by a giant Hershey kiss.

it's driving me insane too. Just like that Circuit City add last year and even if you close it it keeps popping up grr

it froze me up a couple days ago when the top ad was the hersheys and started playing then the side ad started playing too!

glad I'm not the only one who can't stand that ad.

Ugh! I've had it wake up DS too when he falls asleep NAK. I always have to make sure my speakers are off.

Oh my gosh I hate this ad! I always have to x out of it 3 or 4 times before it stays closed. GRRRR. glad I'm not alone

oh yeah, annoying! I was on a computer other one of ours and Everytime I start to type, I couldn't and then all of these snowflakes were all over the page! Then Id get the ringing bells add, and the roller over adds! argh! All I have to say is firefox, and add blocker plus. I'm at home now on my macbook and the only thing i have is "Become a DS Site Supporter Today and Make These Ads Go Away! " with a blank column and I'm not a site supporter!

Me too! Plus every time the add "snows" across the screen then I can no longer click on the link to go back to the main forum page. I have to refresh the page in order for the link to work every time the add plays. It's crazy.
