Time stamp

I've been wondering, what is the time that the site goes by because I've noticed that it's always way off from my own, not just by one or two hours but by 5 or something? Like it's 1:20pm here now but I know the time stamp will be way off. Is there someway you set it that I didn't know about or am I just stuck with it being really off? TIA

Re: Time stamp

If you go into your User CP and Edit Options, the fourth box down is date and time options. You can check there to make sure the time is set up correctly. And just a note that it is just your display time. The "real" time that posts are posted is constant, and when you change your display time, it will show the correct time. Like I am an hour behind you and it shows for me that you posted this at the time you stated.

Awesome, thank you so much, that was exactly what I was after. No wonder it was so off, I was set to London time and I'm in Indiana.
