will my chubby medium snap-ez eventually fit or is it a bust?

I thought I measured him right and I ordered a chubby medium. I washed it up -too big I sent it back and Ruth sewed extra snaps for me, but its still a little too big. The regular medium fleece pocket I ordered after that, and the medium fitted fit perfectly at the tightest setting. I think I will order skinny larges next time though, for a slightly higher rise. Do you think he'll fit in the chubby medium if he gains a few pounds, or will he be to tall by then? I'm wondering if I should try to sell or trade this diaper or just wait on it. I mean, its no biggie if I put it away and sell it later.

what do you think, w/ your experience?

thanks!

My kids all hit a chunky stage between 9 months and walking, he may have the same and use the diaper yet. I'm always hestiant to sell or trade off my stuff - seems as soon as I do, I wish I hadn't, yk? You have alot of time and emotional energy invested so far.. I think I'd keep it. I bet it'll fit at some point. Most kids get bigger... if it was too small - that's be another queston

I'd keep it. Your guy still has a LOT of growing to do. I'd almost bet it will eventually fit fine. Zane wore his first SEZ at 11 months and the large was technically a bit high in the rise. I'm sure if Ruth had had c/m back then it would have been perfect. The couple c/m I got later on fit him until very close to two, a good 20-22 months I think. Finally the rise got a little low for catching poops. I'd put it up for a month or two then try again. If you end up selling later it'll still bring the same $$.

Is this the chubby-med fleece? If you decide to sell it, I'd love to try one of these out!

I dunno but I just bought a chubby medium from a mama here cuz they sounded perfect for my chubber but alas it does not fit.

I had the snaps on the last setting and it is way too tight around his thighs.

Oh well, at least I didn't buy new

I'd hang on to it for a couple of months. Our guy really slimmed down when he started to crawl and even more so now that he is walking. Our daughter definately stayed chunky well into her 3rd year. I think it can vary. I have larges and love them. They are a little big (almost 14 months old) but the rise in the mediums never would have worked for us. My guy is long and lean though. I probably should have bought skinny larges but I wanted them to last a long time.

Good luck. Hope you find one that works. I love SEZ fleece!

I was wondering the same thing, I have some chubby mediums I bought from a mama here. My baby is fitting well into mediums right now, but he's not all that chubby. I think I might hold on to them for a while longer and then if he gets taller rather than chunkier, I'll see if I can trade them for skinny larges.

Good luck!

Yes, its fleece - 200 wt. I love that it feels dry when I take it out of the washer! Its yellow (taxi yellow) on the outside and orange onthe inside. Its cute.

I'm having similar issues with the Snap Ez right now with the Meds....I loved my smalls but these seem to fit ok, but they just wick everywhere, I am convinced it's a fit issue cause I love her pockets so much!
