anyone know how to make spice rubs

i was wanting to make some but i have never made them or used them for that matter. I would love to have your fav. recipie and how to use them. Thanks

Basically, it's just a combination of dried spices. I personally like seasoned salt, mixed pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne powder, and a little cumin. Just mix it up and then rub it on your favorite meat before grilling. Although for rubs, I like pork or beef better than chicken. It sticks better. I like to rub it in and let it sit a few minutes before cooking. You can also use rubs on meats you cook in the oven.
