Re: pp depression

I also take rx for depression and I'm looking for natural alternatives. I started a thread in healthy living and weight loss, go check it out!

BTW, daily exercise, St John's Wort, high quality fish oil were all suggested to me. I've just started taking fish oil (I definitely recommend capsules, as I have liquid and it's nasty).

Re: pp depression

There was a study done recently that over 50% of those who exercised for half an hour a day had the same mood improvement as those on meds.

It's OK to cry a lot. If you're still up and functioning, you're doing all right; see if you can find some friends to spend time with you, and some extra ways to take care of yourself. Can you hire someone to take care of the baby and catch up on sleep a bit, too? Good luck, mama!

No med suggestions but do have a good network of friends/family that you can talk too? I think that might help. Make sure you get out of the house, I found getting out helped with my mood.
