How long does it take to get approved? I'm sitting on a stash I'd like to start getting rid of to fund my ever growing addiction to all things cloth!!

Re: How to get a FSOT (For Sale or Trade Badge)

As a new member to ds I have to say I really appreciate the process of becoming a seller. I've been buying from eBay for a while b/c of the safety of it, but they've been having a dry spell lately and some mamas on another online parenting community I've been a part of for the last four years recommend this site to me. At first I was a little lost, but I've been getting a hang of things and have really enjoyed how much more ds has to offer than just buying and selling. I feel like I found a new virtual home. I've always been apprehensive on actually selling online, but this application process offers reassurance and piece of mind. I look forward to enjoying all aspects of the ds community.

I definitely feel like Mama2. I was confused and reluctant at the beginning because i always been using systems like Ebay since i felt i was going to be more protected in my transactions, but thanks to this website i am gaining trust and i am learning about paypal a lot.
Never let your guard down of course, but i can tell that there is some serious monitoring going on in order to prevent scams and all the mamas i had the chance to deal with (either for suggestions or sales) have always been so helpful and kind!
Thank you so much to everyone that commits to keep this website honest and friendly.

You are very welcome.

We try our best. There are always people that will try to take advantage but the mods do monitor for suspicious activity.

I have attempted the original method, not knowing it's been phased out and got the authentication error as well. Thankfully, then I found the step-by-step process for the new way and it worked! Waiting for my request to be granted :-D
