Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

It's so much easier on both of you! Plus, it's less you'll have to deal with when it comes to laundry! :P

lol MIL's. I wouldn't take it too personally. You guys are too different people and your form of acceptable attire is not going to be same for her form of acceptable baby attire. Any who. I live in cali and when babes are lil.. especially under 1. Cloth dipe and tee rule!!! less laundry, babes more comfy, less clothes go to waste. only thing better is cloth dipe and no shirt lol

Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

I've actually just been going through this myself lately, my twin girls just turned 4 months this week, and I realized I had all these 0-3 month cute outfits my girls had never worn! It was a mad dash to dress them, and take pictures of them in each of their little sets, and dresses.

To be honest, they were summer babies, so for the most part they lived in those snap T's and onesies. If their feet got cold, I'd put some socks on them. During the first months of their lives...my babies 1)hardly went out, except for their Dr's appts, in which case the snap T's were perfect for easy on/off, 2)rarely had visitors, and 3)were so busy with feedings and sleep times, there was no extra time to change them frequently out of nice clothes after spit-ups, drool, and diaper blowouts.

I would advise any new mommies to buy one or two cute outfits for special occasions...and trust me, you'll get plenty as well as gifts.

We are definitely a diaper only (sometimes not even that!) kinda fam. I'm in texas too so it's hot, we play outside A LOT, and quite frankly I think babies need naked time. ;-)

Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

Lately my LO has been in just a diaper most of the day...and my 2 year old is only picking out PJs to wear. It's early fall now but I figure if they're comfy and happy it doesn't really matter how "dressed" they get.

My DD basically lives in just a diaper 95% of the time at home. Sometimes I put a shirt on her..but she's in the feeding herself stage and it gets messy. So it's easier to keep her like that lol! I am however in Texas right now. We're about to move to Washington state, so I'll probably dress her a little more since it'll be colder there

Re: How do you dress your children when just at home?

I'm in Indiana and I let my son hang out in just his cloth diaper and a t-shirt. And sometimes it just ends up being just the diaper. He loves it.
