Re: Breastmilk causing face rash/eczema

Update: Today we met with an NAET http://www.naet.com/ specialist. She determined he is sensitive to several foods I've been avoiding; dairy, soy, wheat and chocolate, plus eggs, which I do not like. We were treated for soy so I can at least have food products with soy ingredients. I'm not sold on the whole treatment process so I think I'll proceed with my own scientific approach, with dairy being the last to be reintroduced. I'm only missing cheese a little bit.

Thanks so much for all of your insights.

Question Re: Breastmilk causing face rash/eczema

Man, I feel your pain with the frustration and boring diet--and you have cut out way more than me!! Curious how they determine sensitivities? I'd be interested in doing this, as I've cut out dairy, garlic and legumes which has helped, but my LO still has light eczema all over. I'm not sure if any eczema can just be genetic though, and not diet related? I had pretty bad eczema when I was a kid and still have flare-ups as an adult. Does anyone know about this?

PS: and craving cheese and ice cream like MAD! Really love the soy and coconut milk ice creams but they are so expensive... And can't stand the almond cheese....... arg.

It looked a bit like that on his chin, which made me believe it was due to contact with breastmilk. After being diligent about washing his face after each feeding, it has subsided. More prominent are tiny bumps all over his face and head, that are also showing up on his forearms, chest and shoulders. Does his rash itchy, too?
