I think you made the right decision, though.

Home after a LONG week. Thank goodness! Another one under my belt. We are gearing up for report cards. They are due to admin next Friday at 3:30. That means I will be half way through the school year. Woah! That seems kind of crazy!

Tonight we had pancakes and bacon for supper. I mixed up a batch of Macy's wheat loaf and it is rising now. I am going to let it rise longer that last time to see if I can get a slightly loftier bread. It was delish last time, but a little dense.

Have a great time in ABQ, Jen. Ru and I look at ABQ to see if it would work for our anniversary. Flights were too expensive/difficult for 2 nights, though.

Fresh fish (not for me) and chicken soup with barley, brown rice and homemade noodles was tasty. I think I use my dutch oven every day!

A glass of whine consumed. Ahhh...

So I was loading the car after Jerry got home and the mailman showed up and I got 2 pieces of mail. A lovely card from my mom and a package from my sister with the new k-cup reusable cup (way better design) and a Swedish washcloth.
