I don't know that it would be particularly good for hot weather, it's not particularly breathable...that being said i don't think it would be much warmer than my other didymos wrap. I'm fairly new to wrapping myself, so I honestly don't know, but there might be one that is meant to be more breathable....sorry I don't know if that was helpful.
